New Year's Resolutions

Hello!
I'm a long-time lurker at PlanetCatfish, and because I've resolved to BAP five species of cories in 2019, I joined to read the spawning reports and whatever else I've been missing out on. Does anyone else have any resolutions around catfish for the new year?

So far, I attended CatCon, acquired Ian Fuller's books, come up with a plan to dedicate 8-10 tanks of my fishroom to the project, and stared purchasing and fattening a few groups. Any tips or advice on species, spawning triggers, or anything to help with the BAP goal would be much appreciated! Happy to be here.

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Good luck with your resolution. Which cory species are you going to spawn first?

As for resolutions, I haven't even thought that far ahead.... I'm still working on my "tomorrow".... no, my "this afternoon" resolution. :))

Cheers, Eric

Haha, I don't know. Probably not those sodalis you helped me identify on Facebook. I have two sorts of "elegans", a group of gossei who are small yet, pandas, a line on a breeding group of sterbai, various fishroom aeneus who haven't been set up to breed/keep eggs over the years, and a desire to splurge on some Aquabid farm-raised metae after Christmas. I'll probably just collect some aeneus out of various tanks and get an easy one first to test everything and build some confidence. Concolor and similis are on the list somewhere.

Good luck with your afternoon resolutions!
Sarah
