Syno Granulosus is indeed the holy grail of synos as of today.
Congratulations to all who have them.
They are now for sale in the east coast at $100 - 150 each.

They are not great in a group, especially the females as they get larger, they will rip each other apart.The largest tank possible is always best for these....the 265 mentioned sounds perfect.

When they are sub 2", do they start out full black? Or do they have spots like a multipunctatus?

Thanks Dave! I just got 4 that are roughly 1.5" and look just like that as far as I can tell. Looking forward to growing these guys out!

So far in the ~20 months I have had it, it has been a very slow grower. Probably only has grown an inch and half in that time, if that.

Thanks for getting back to me. The 4 that I have that I got at a very small size have had very little growth in the first 6 months. Was hoping for quicker results!
