Ancistrus sp. Rio Tocantins

While at the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society meeting in earlier this week, I picked up nine baby . I recognize that the color pattern will change as they age, but at this size, their pattern reminds me a bit of both and also , except that the pale areas on these babies are metallic green instead of tan, and the dark color isn't as bold in my fish as in the wabenmuster.

I've never intended to be a collector of Ancistrus, but I'm now up to three species and I know I'm not finished. :YMPARTY:

This morning I discovered a male fanning eggs! Woo-hoo! \:d/

After finding baby wabenmuster yesterday eve, this is a great 12 hours! Ah, the emotional rollercoaster of fish keeping! :)) :(( \:d/ =(( ~X( X_X \:d/
