ey everyone
I've been a cory keeper for a long time and there is a disease that always coming back and killing be big groups of corydoras
the symptoms are fish starting to get pale, gills getting red and the fish becomes slowly apathic until it dies
i have read many about many people who got the same thing, but I didn't get a good answer about what to do
I keep the tanks well aerated, oxygenated and filtrated and do 15% water change twice a week, I feed with big variety of catfish food and frozen food as well. Ammonia and nitrite are always 0 and nitrate not never too high
I tried different kind of treatment over the years, includes enriching food with garlic oil and vitamins, melafix and lately I tried using furanol by jbl, the first treatment was lower dose with 3 tablets for 100 L and after seeing no change or effect I tried a higher dose of 5 tablet for 100 L [both treatment lasted 5 days with all the action that was needed]
I lost in the past a group of brochis splendes and a huge group of breading Corydoras aenaus, and now it's killing my pandas and zignatus
it breaks my heart to see them die like that with nothing I can do…. Any help please………
