Just saw one of my oldest zebra males (best guess is a minimum of 15 and as many as 18 years old) is on wigglers. I easily spotted three of them.

@Barbie this is one of Jiri's fish I was able to acquire because of you :d

Wow thats really nice.
Like a grandpa looking after grand children. At least it's only a maximum 3 weeks and he can go back to laying around the man cave eating and not worrying about them.

I broke down this tank to look for fry and found none. Apparently, after my last hunt my rescape created a muck trap and I think the fry self destructed in the gunk. I rebuilt the tank trying to create clear paths for gunk to get blown through and either filtered or vacuumed up. :(

I must be getting old. I know there were no fry in the tank when everything was removed. All the contents went into a Rubbermaid with an air stone and heater. No fry dropped out of the decor in the 90 minutes+ things were in the Rubbermaid.

Yesterday, and again this morning I spotted a free swimming fry hiding in the alpha male's cave.

I used to be smarter than the average pleco.........

edited to note there are now 2 fry in with dad.
