Error message when trying to delete old sent PMs

Hi Jools,
Today I tried to clean up my private messages. I used the check boxes to tag a few messages in my sent folder and switched the menu at the bottom to "Delete." When I pressed Go/Submit (or whatever the button says on its label), the messages were not removed and I received this message:
"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."
Needless to say, I tried again... and again... and again, about 4 times; each time the same error.
However, if I view each message individually and click the "x" (delete) button, then the message can still be deleted.
