Do you mean an egg trap for egg scatterers like danios, barbs, tetras and many loaches? Usually those are either a false floor in your tank using marbles, small rocks and/or the plastic "egg crate" light fixture cover, or it's a box sitting on the floor of your tank, occupying a significant (but not complete) portion of the surface of your tank floor, and the box has a similar porous cover, usually with java moss or loose spawning mops above. Fish lay eggs within the mops/moss, but the eggs fall into the box, protected by the cover.

Or do you have something else in mind?

Cheers, Eric
