Brochis splendens spawning

Post by Troender »

I have recently bought a small group of very large wild caught Brochis splendens, and they are gorgeous! I am in love. They are close to spawning, but don't seem to get there all the way. I have bred many corydoras species, so I have a few tricks, but are there any tricks to make them spawn that is special for Brochis species? I can't give them water changes with cold water, because I have tiny ancistrus fry that has just left daddy's cave. They get plenty of delicious frozen food, especially tubifex. I consider increasing the circulation in the tank, and maybe lower the PH. Any other things I can do to get them started?
