Microglanis

Post by laganbailey »

Hi All,

I have had two Microglanis specimens for several years. One looks similar to M. iheringi, but the second one has a bit different pattern of coloration.

Though I am not sure how variable the pattern within the species is.

I would appreciate any opinion on its identity.

Thanks

Hi laganbailey,

Welcome to Planetcatfish! Can you provide photos?

More than likely, both of your Microglanis are different undescribed sources. Each form generally resembles , but neither is it. I have several Microglanis. Check out my pics and let us know if you'd are similar. Here are my pics: New group of 6 Microglanis iheringi... or are they?

Good luck!
