L046 males or females

was wondering if any chance someone could tell the sex or these purchased today from local area i know the male is male as wont come out of the cave hes plump like a female should be but he could be just ready to breed his front fins are very hairy but am not sure about these other two i received thanks inadvance

Hi @young pleco dude,

Welcome to PlanetCatfish! Looking at your pics, I was wondering if they're old enough to breed. Based on the pectoral spines, I would have said two females, but I can see that one is thinner than the other, so I'm not really sure; you might have 1M:1F. I'm sure other people can do a better job than I.

thanks eric the male i have which is not pictured is 2.5 years apparently he wont come out the cave to get photo and these two in the photo are 2 and 1.5 years
