Picked up these two today, in the area of 20cm plus. Imported from Columbia.

To me, the pale head and discreet transverse banding indicates . But I am far from certain.

Do you have any photos from the side view?

Agree a side view would help. The issue with "bufonius" is that it is unlikely we even have pics of that sp. It has just become a catch all designation for what are likely several spp from different drainages.

Due to the pics in the Cat-Elog, I'm quite agreeable on P. bufonius.
