Breeding L134

Post by Jaydenjonesy »

Hi everyone,
About two months ago I got a pair of 134 leopard frogs I was told they’re about 15 months old so would be 16-17 months now. I also picked up another male which is 3 years old. I’m just wondering what age people have had their leopard frogs breed from? As I’ve noticed a female is quite plump but I’m assuming she still too young

Mine started to breed at around three - four years of age. Males seem to mature slower than females from what I have experienced. Make sure that the males don't beat up eachother too bad, I would give them plenty of spaces to hide. The dominant male can really only take out it's agression on one subdominant male in your case. They can be really mean sometimes!
