Juvenile Waligonia leerii? Erm, no…

I caught this in a peat swamp in Central Kalimantan in Borneo. Wondering whether it might be
Wallagonia leerii. There were lots of them and would be interesting to identify this as nursery area for this important local food fish.

This is a member of the
Ompok leiacanthus group. Likely
Ompok supernus.

This was in Sebangau forest, so outside known range for O. supernus, but certainly not a million miles away. Habitat shot…
