Hide caves for pleco

Hi, this is how I masked up some pleco cave in clay. It was very easy to make, I bought some pieces of wood and some clay cave and only used the tools shown in the photos.
I am very satisfied with the result, it really just looks like natural wood and you can't see the clay cave inside. I really think I will build more like this.
I didn't like having clay cave in my aquarium, so I thought of this solution. I could do a similar job using the same rocks I used to set up this tank, but it's more involved, takes an angle grinder, and makes a lot of dust. Woodworking, on the other hand, is much simpler.

In addition to the clay caves, I built many caves and natural nooks and crannies out of rocks when setting up the tank, but now I thought I'd add some clay caves so the pleco can choose which one they like best.

Here is my latest creation, this time I used rock instead of wood.
I went to collect rocks behind the house (as I had already done
when I set up my aquarium). To cut the pieces of rock I used an angle grinder that a friend kindly lent me.

Now they must become covered in algae and so they will become the same color as the other rocks in my tank.
