Gold Dust Bristlenose?

Post by Phoenix.L »

Aqua Imports is selling these fish that they are calling gold dust bristlenose. (Ancistrus Sp.) They say that the spots have a golden color but you can’t tell from the picture. Has anybody seen or heard of these, I can’t find any mention anywhere else and am curious if anyone knows what it actually is. It has a nice look but I would like to know if they keep the spots into adulthood.

Locality info. would help, but this is or similar. Colour of the spots yellow to white is variable both by population and by husbandry. Pretty fish and a nice breeding project too.
