Various corydoras

Post by Manoah »

Hi everyone, would it be possible to see various species of corydoras in the same habitat?
I mean like two or three different species together in the same habitat.

Hi Manoah,

Yes, it is common to catch two or three species of cory in the same stream or pond at the same time.

Thanks Eric, i do have another question. I wanna make an black water biotope of a small stream or pond in the venezuela or columbian lowlands/llanos. But i can’t seem to find a lot of info on these sort of habitats. Do you have any tips? Im too young to do an expedition in columbia or venezuela so i have to do it like this😅.

The fish i have:
Microgeophagus ramirezi,
Paracheirodon simulans.
Corydoras melini and i wanna buy some more corys for this biotope.

The tank is 80x40x40 cm 128liters
