Corydoras oyapoquensis info

I'm probably going to be getting a group of cories for my discus tank, thinking of a group of 8 for a planted 90 gallon with some discus, plecos and apistos, anyone have any information for me on them?
pH is at about 6.2, temp stays around 82, hardness values all under 3 degrees on the german scale.

I am not sure how well C. oiapoquensis will tollerate the higher temperatures over the long term. Mine are kept and breed at 74-76 F. C. adolfoi would be a better proposition or better still C. gossei, these require 80F+ temperatures to breed.

Thanks for the advice Coryman, any other suggestions? I won't place an improper fish in the tank, but the discus and plecos love the temp. I really don't care for the looks of the 2 suggestions, and if it comes to those 2, then no cories for me.

What I would say about putting C. oiapoquensis with your discus is give them a try make sure they are aclimatised to the higher temperature slowly. They will most certainly be more active in the warmer water but keep an eye on them for signes of stress for the first day or so. In all probability they will do just fine.

Coryman, that was something I was considering... I have a spare 20 gallon that's empty now, and was hoping to keep the thing empty, but if I have problems in discus temps I'm a sucker and I'd start it up...
I can't imagine they wouldn't be happier in with discus than they would in the slightly cooler stingray tank... but if it comes down to it, the 20 gallon would be the place they'd move to...
