Jools,
No worries....I am sure you can have it all sorted out soon!
Any word on whether there will be another International L-Number Days in Hanover again?
(I know, wrong forum!)

Indeed, will there? "Enquiring minds want to know?!" :))

Hi Andi.

What do you believe is the cause underlying this?
  • Just a bad economy so that people can't afford to attend?
  • A general lack of interest to attend (i.e., Conventions are losing their appeal? Not enough "new" fish to talk about and keep people's interest? Attendees are tired of same speakers?)
  • Burnout of organizers and a lack of more volunteers to put on the event?
  • Loss of too many corporate sponsors to underwrite the expenses?
  • A shrinking interest in the aquarium hobby more broadly?
  • Something else?
I ask because here in the USA we're struggling to keep both Cataclysm and CatfishCon going. A variety of factors are messing with us, but clearly there's still interest since we're looking at other clubs taking over each of these events.
Cheers, Eric
