Keeping Yellow Bullheads

I went to the petshop today to surprisingly see baby (less than inch or most a inch) yellow bullheads. How big do they get? Would a 29 gallon be enough for one or maybe even two since they are bottom dwellers? I caught a channel catfish from a creek a year ago and had him for two years in a ten gallon-by himself because he'd eat anything. He got to about 4 1/2 and I started feeding him feeder guppies and he caught a disease from them:(....and died.

Yellow bullheads can grow up to 460 mm (18") in the wild, but more likely reach 300mm (12") in an aquarium, so a 29-gallon tank might be a tad too small for even one of them.
The channel cat would've grown even bigger than that.
