I have a question about a blue eyed ANCISTRUS (not a "blue eyed pleco").

I saw it at a friends house, and since i have never seen an Ancistrus with blu eyes before i became a bit interested. Does anyone know what it may be? I am a 100% possitive that it is some sort of ancistrus.

Are you referring to the fish discussed here?

Hi!

I know Blue fins Bristelnose, , but never heard of an Ancistrus species with blue eyes.
There is also which has a blue eye a bit like but other than these 2...
Cheers

What color was the actual Ancistrus?

Did it have Blue eyes like the "Blue eyed pleco" or Black eyes with blue ring?

Any chance of a few pictures?

Well,
I think, the xanthoristic Ancistrus sp. L 144 does have blue eyes.

I am the proud owner of a blue-eyed bristlenose ;) Actually, I have two males of the same species, only one of which has blue eyes.

He is about four inches long, dark brown with pale spots and has lots of branched bristles.

One of these days I'll trawl through the cat-eLog to determine what species it is....

It might well be the Ancistrus that silurus reffered to, however, it was NOT an albino. I can't recall how the eyes were colored, but i can remember that they were distinctky blue. I am sorry, but i don't have any pictures to post.
