Hi

I saw this plec at my LFS and i didn't have time to ask the shopkeeper as he also was very busy. It was very distintive so i'll try to describe it....It is mainly very dark but the interesting thing about this plec is that on its leading edge of its fins it has a bright orange/red tinge. I do remember sumone posting a reply to another member about this fish about a half year ago.

I know thats not very helpful, but imagine a L25 but smaller and with less colour.

Erm no to both. let me try to describe further. By the way i spoke to the LFS and they said it was a cactus plec, which i suppose it could be but its colours was very bright.

On the fins, both pectoral and and dorsal, it has a thicker leading edge. It is this area of the fins that are brightly coloured. Its more red than orange but you can see both colours coming thru. The rest of its body is black.

Does L024 have very bright colours coming thru. the ones in the Catelog do not really show the colours too well.

Not L063?
It definitely sounds like some kind of Pseudacanthicus.
