how to differentiate these 2 cories?

Hi peeps
Was looking at some stuff when I stumbled upon a question I asked myself a while ago.
How do you differentiate the c. surinamensis and the c.brevirostris? From pictures it seems that the surinamensis seems to have a longer dorsal fin? and the marking on the dorsal seems bigger/ taller compared to the brevirostris?
Any thoughts on the above? or is there a sure way? what if you dont have both specimens side by side for comparision? What would be the deciding factors?
