Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask a few questions concerning Patrickstockton's fish, hopefully someone will shed some lights for me!
About a month ago I've bought a pair of juvenile Nigros in hope of raising and finally breeding them. First I bought one, then a week later another one from the same bunch in the shop, but I think the salespersonal werent very high of their trade because all they could tell me about them was that they were from Columbia.

I realised only at home that they don't look the same nor do they behave the same, and I'm certain now they're different(population) fish.

Comparing the two fish:

The first one looks exactly like this one:
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/lo ... /151_8.php

He's the nicer looking, lighter base color(beigeier), vavy/marbled abdomen, some brown coloration of the fins and tail with some yellow at the tips, he's very shy, hangs under/behind the wood at the same shady spot all day long, it won't come out to eat as long as my fluorescent lights are on. He's chasing the other(slightly bigger one) away when he dares to approach his hanging spot, then goes back to the shelter instantly again. Around 8 PM I turn the fluorescent off and switch to a light bulb that only strong enough for me to see them and the fish gets busy almost right away, but still chewing only the shady parts of the wood. In total darkness he's all over the tank, not sick or anything imo.

The second one, from what I can see, is a copycat of Patrick's fish, it has the same stripes on the abdomen as on the back, his base color is greyer than the others, the tail is not so nice either, he also hangs under the wood during the daytime, but at least moving under it and he comes out everytime without fear when I put food in the water. Btw, they're both in the same community tank.

So what do you think, are they both L190? According to the catelog they're. Are they the same fish from a different population perhaps? And if so, is there a chance to interbreed them when they reach adult size or should I look for a matching looking pair for each one? Any input is welcome, thanks in advance!

PS.
Please exuse me for my poor english!
