Is LDA65 the adult of L203?

Hi
After close observation between my juvenile L203 with the huge Titanic Panaque that i saw from some of the pictures, i came to realise the close resemblance between this 2 "species". Can they be the same species? If not, any pictures to compare the differences? Thanks!

I´d like to know too if these are same species. I don`t have experiences with neither these fishes.

Good point. I assume that they are the same. Although there are several juvenile
patterns from different locations in Amazon main stream systems, only one adult form
so far I know. Juveniles have black and white pattern on caudal fin even the size of 25cm.
A good combination of pellets and wood feeding is recommended.

The name Titanic is not appropriate for this fish, I think. This name has been misunderstood in
a fish tradings. This name is originated from an undiscribed species of Panaque from Rio Napo
basin. Since this Rio Napo species is now in manuscript, please use other name. Onece
name appeared in publication even it was a wrong fish, author cannot use the same name
for his/her fish which will be soon published.

Titanics are usually L273 in red, orange, and black morphs, from all I've seen of them wholesale in the US at least. I do know there is a panaque they call that that looks totally different, also.

I realize that, I was just trying to note that the "common names" are not used for decisive differences in fish for a reason ;)
