Brochis schools

I have 4 brochis cats in a planted 29 gallon with farlowella cats, some killifish, peacock gobies, and Endlers' Livebearers. No big predators in the tank....and my brochis cats do not school. They do seem to enjoy some interaction with each other, are always darting around, but I never see all four of them together.

Is this a good sign?

In my experience, although they are best kept as a group, they don't stick together in a tight shoal all of the time, so you probably have nothing to worry about.

Fish typically shoal when they are stressed or percieve some type of threat. Shoaling after all is a defensive type of behavior.

You should feel comforted by the fact your fish aren't shoaling.
