Mostly Catfish 29 gallon

First, I want to thank this board for my endless supply of stocking questions: I know I can get the hard truth here about my fish. :D

Most, if not all, of my plans regarding my 29 gallon tank fell through. The paradisefish I ordered were never shipped out, the banjo cats devoured my school of cardinal tetras, and my flagfish ripped holes in the dorsal fins of my brochis cats. The idea of an angelfish was appealing, but I worried that my peacock gobies might have fun with the long fins....lunch.

So I've decided to ignore the flashy fish I once thought of, and stick with what I really like. Cats. My 29 gallon already has some brochis cats (5), 2 farlowellas, Endler's Livebearers, and 8 peacock goby fry.

I want to finish the tank off with a pair of BN plecos. My tank is planted, and thus far, no algae problems in sight. I don't mind feeding extra foods to the algae eaters; I've found in this hobby, it's best to get what you like, ignore what you don't, and don't try to squeeze in that extra fish that -should- fit in your tank, but would much appreciate more space.

So a pair of BN plecos, my fav plecos that can happily live in the smaller tanks, my final addition. Unless there's a flaw to the plan.....?

Your plan would work, but
the banjo cats devoured my school of cardinal tetras
whoa! Those are some big and mean banjos you got there. How come they didn't touch your peacock gobies?

The gobies were still mostly in the fry tank at the time. :)

And it may have helped that the cardinals were not their full adult size, only halfway there....
