Corys: schooling

I know Corys are schooling fish, but do they need their own species, or can they school with other species of Corys instead? Specifically, I have four C. panda (number five died shortly after I got them) and now I have a new C. trilineatus. Do I need more of each, or can I put them together and assume their social needs are met?

They can school with other species of cories and make up their own little groups. I have a bunch of cories with each fish having either the same species to pair it up with or a similar species and they all group together and play nonetheless.

Yep, I agree - I have several in each tank, including elegans, panda, aeneus and paleatus, and they all kick together from time to time . . .
