hi, is a 4x2x2foot tank big enough to house a sailfin gibby? what is there growth rate?

I would say no, but if it's a baby, you could upgrade in a year or 2 (I assume your dimensions are in feet) :D

yep its in feet so they would outgrow in 1-2 years from a baby? must be fast growers lol, i think i might put a baby in there then when it gets to big sell it and replace with another baby? Mayb i could do swaps?? what plecos WONT outgrow a 4x2x2foot tank? Thanks!

My gibby is in a 4 x 1.5 x 1.5 and has stopped growing at around 13 or 14 inches.

He seems happy enough and appears to be in good condition, he got big pretty quickly. But be warned they eat a lot and produce a lot of waste, so good filtration is a must. Very easy to keep and feed though.
