Hi

Would like an advice on whether the above specimen is an adult specimen of Orange/Gold Line Royal from Araguaia.

On a separate note, based on information obtained from Cat-eLog, it appears that L027c is now used to described Panaque sp. cf. nigrolineatus 'tocantins' and 'xingu' . In this connection, what would the L-number be for Panaque sp. cf. nigrolineatus 'Araguaia' now?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

:D In the new Aqualog it says,no L number yet. It has 3 nice pictures on page 51. Brazil: Rio Araguaia, W, > 40 cm. Good Luck. :D

Thanks Wood for the reply.

It seems that we here in Singaproe are still slightly behind time with most suppliers and hobbyists still referring royals from Rio Araguaia as L027c. Cheers. :)

Hi Phil

There are indeed some of hobbyists in Singapore who are now more into the identification of royal based on the type locality.

Have to thank a few of the moderators in Plecofanatics in assisting me to ID this fella.
