Two Panda's in my group of Panda Cory's seem to have more white'ish body colour than the rest. The others have a golden look to them but not with the other two. They are all the same size so is it a male female thing.

Thanks.
Graeme.

I've also noticed that with a few in my group. But it has nothing to do with sex that I'm aware of I think they would be sexed like most cory's. The female being the bigger of the two. By this I mean looking from top view the female will be fuller more rounded looking. But the best person to talk to would be IAN F. he's the cory man

C. panda can loose and gain colour very quickly depending on various conditions, food, tank mates (Competition/aggression), temperature but generaly speaking females do tend to be paler. When Cory fry develope their coluors its always the female colour that is displayed and as the males mature they take on full male colouration. With species that do not show colour dimorphism the colour of the males tend to be more intence.
