Synodontis species list with pictures

I chanced upon this french aquaristical/ichthyological resource:
http://www.angelicus-terraqua.com/artic ... rticle_p=3
One of the articles listed is a species list of Synodontis, with data regarding distribution and picture:
http://www.angelicus-terraqua.com/artic ... dontis.htm
The URL's for the images are slightly wrong: replace 'net' in the URL with 'terraqua' and they'll work.
There's some other interesting articles as well, notably one on geographical distribution (
http://www.angelicus-terraqua.com/artic ... dontis.htm
) and some on the breeding of S. multipunctatus & schoutedeni.

Mike,
I presume you speak French? How good is the textual information?
I couldn't get very many images to work at all. A real shame as I think there is a lot of information here. Well, I guess I could translate it if I had permission...

The info there is actually an abbreviated form of the syno bible (Poll's revision). Many of the pics are from Boulenger, and are hence no longer copyright-protected.

First regarding the pictures, they're there and available, but they've changed server name from angelicus-net.com to angelicus-terraqua.com so the links points to the wrong location. So for example:
http://www.angelicus-net.com/images/pho ... ectens.JPG
doesn't work, but
http://www.angelicus-terraqua.com/image ... ectens.JPG
does.
(For some reason Firefox wont let me edit the URL and see the pictures, but Internet Explorer does.)
Regarding the language... No, I don't speak french. I understand it reasonably well since I understand Spanish, but I still tend to use the Alta Vista translation service at:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/
Just feed it the URL, select French To English, and you'll get a passable translation.

You know, they are pretty good line drawings - would be good in the cat-elog if someone (and I'm not volunteering you) could go around and save them all and email them to me. Only the species that we do not have and only the images we can use without copyright issues.

Mike,
Yes, it just needed more effort from me - the first two I tried at random didn't (and don't work) although I have seen a few now.
