Convention photography/videography for PC

I'm thinking of bringing my videocam to the convention to tape the talks (including mine). Eventually, I hope that they'll be put up on this site for people who couldn't make it.
Is there something like this officially planned (so that I need not bring my videocam down)?
Jools, is there an "official photographer/videographer" for PC?

Not really, I'd also be worried about the bandwidth that might be used up by streaming video feeds all over the place. That said, buying a DVD or CD of the talks would be a OK, but I think that needs to go past the PVAS. The important thing here is that someone records it, once recorded, we can figure out what to do with it!

We will be video-recording all of the events at the convention and burning them to DVD to keep for posterity. Depending on each individual speakers' wishes, we will also be making copies of the talks available on a loan basis to other aquarium societies and non-profit organizations.

Andrew,
Can the speakers get a DVD of their own talks?

Yes! As soon as copies are made which will be a month or two after the event.
