Almost all the longnose species love sandy gravel ( I prefer to provide powderlike sand mix ).
Not too much plant, put some rock or wood inside.

How big is the tank? Looks small for them,they need large place to play and swim.

Oh is only 1.5 feet. But then only two of them.
I did give them good filter as a compromise though not for swimming space. :(

1½ feet should be 45*45*45 cm, right? - If this is the case, I would easily keep a school of 5 in there, as long as You keep if a single species tank. Two fish is not enought imo<br> Turn up the waterflow to as fast as the sand bedding allows You to would be my advice on the current. <br>Allan
