Tank Specifically for African Catfishes

Hello everyone, :D

I am looking to make a tank that is dedicated to species of African catfish, specifically syno's.

I am looking for suggestions for compatability and experiences with keeping multiple syno's in one tank. Tank is 75 gallons and fully cycled with lots and lots of hiding places.

My tank is currently pretty much uninhabited as I have been keeping only native (IL) species on a shorterm basis in it for some time. As of right now I just have a small herd (10) of cory catfish to maintain some bacteria in the tank. I will be tranfering these to another tank when the African one starts.

Thanks everyone,

Andrew Rivers

Essentially, I am giving you a bare 75g tank and you tell me what fish you would put in it. The only restriction is that they must be african catfish.

Hi!

Dunno if you plan on riverrine or riftlake but heres what i have right now...
A planted tank full with wood
9x Synodontis nigriventris
4-7x Microsynodontis polli
1x Synodontis pleurops
1x Synodontis decorus
1x Synodontis acanthomias
1x Gymnallabes typus
1/1 Pelvicachromis taeniatus

Works very well untill now...ill have to give the decorus/acanthomias away comes time though, cauz my tanks too small for 2x 40+ cm fishes...
