Breeding Sterbai's

A couple of months ago my lfs offered me 9 small Sterbai's for £18, obviously I snapped his hands off and I have had them in my tank since. As they have got larger I have noticed that some of them have crooked or totally bent fins - they still swim and eat as if normal.

I am just wondering if this is a heredatory problem, as I aim to breed them - would you replace any 'problem' breeding stock with new ones ?

It is very possible that if many of the Corys you have purchased have crooked or bent fins it could pass on to the next generation. If you are interested in breeding I would get some new stock.
