What other species lives in Lower Congo rapids? I`ve tried to search what haven`t found any good information.I suppose that these two lives there too -Synodontis soloni and Teleogramma brichardi(cichlid). Are there some characins?
There is some research work done , but this abstract doesn`t give much information

Steatocranus casuarius is a great fish :) and it comes from lower congo rapids I belive. I keep these fish some time ago and they are very interesting sp. and with some effort not so hard to obtain :). Easy to keep, easy to breed and interesting behaviour :D

I´ve used this.It is based on CLOFFA
http://www.naturalsciences.be/science/c ... index_html
It gives to S.brichardi zone R8 and that helps a lot but i need more precise information about the rapids they live in. I`ve understood that S.brichardi is found from very small area at least in Congo-river scale.
