I am just wondering if fish are affected by paint fumes ?
The inside of the house is being completey redecorated and I just want to know if there are any precautions I might take.

Wear some old clothes ;-)

Seriously, keep the windows open, but it shouldn't be TOO bad. I'd be more worried about dust and particles than the fumes from the paint.

Particularly, the fumes from solvent-based paint isn't likely to solve in water anyways, so it should be just fine. Water-based paint doesn't usually contain much harmfull stuff anyways, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
