hi Julian

L333 is a hypancistrus so i suspect the breeding specifics would be similar to those of L66 & L260,although i seem to recall reading somewhere that L333 prefer softer and warmer conditions than L260.
I think £26.50 is a fair enough price for L333 although i have seen them cheaper/dearer depending on size.

cheers

hi zebraplec

Thanks for the link.
That's the cheapest i've ever seen l333's.
Others are far cheaper than i've paid before too, wish i'd known of this guy 2 years back,i could've saved some £££££'s :)

cheers

Gee,
Those prices are bargain basement! Even the Australian and New Guinea natives are cheaper than we can get here in their homeland.

As for the plecos,,,,,,what can I say?????? 10% of what we would pay,,,,If they were available!!!

The Cories etc... yeah, pretty much on a par.

I have had contact (via the internet) with a chap who ordered five L333 from this place. He reported that the L333s were are very good size but ALL were in one bag, so only just made it alive!!... on top of this he got six rather than his order five so although this added to the stress on all these plecs in one bag. BUT he got a REAL bargin. From what he said, overall he was happy. Having said that I am sure this guys skills saved the stressed plecs, someone new to plecs could well have lost the lot.

I personally would only purchase fish via mail order as a last resort. You never know what you are going to get. At least Tri-mar offer a live arrial guarantee.

Cheers
