Inconsistant Cat-eLog for Pimelodus Maculatus

I was looking for an alternative to Pim Pictus, as the Pictus is (at least according to the Cat-eLog) not that keen on higher pH, which is what my water is naturally.
I found P. Maculatus, which seemed like a good match. Cat-eLog says 120mm SL.
However, the second (of two) pictures shows a fish that is next to a ruler. From all that I can tell, the ruler is a 6 inch ruler, and the fish is definitely longer than the ruler by a couple of inches (without the tail).
So obviously the Cat-eLog is a bit "pessimistic" on the Max size of this fish.
