It is also a very hardy fish, which is typical of armored fish. Your body is elongated and its color is very varied, we may be confused with other species for its wide range of different colors ranging from light beige and yellow to dark brown or bright gold.
They are fish that live in shoals and socialize very well with other bottom fish, in particular other callichtyideos such as corydoras so dear, since they are not too big to do some damage to Aspidoras.
I recommend for anyone who has a well planted aquarium and shading, this species sometimes feels stressed in an environment with lots of lighting and can even jump out of the tank.".
