| Compatibility | Very docile fish, mid-water swimmer; an ideal larger catfish for the community aquarium. |
| Breeding | Possible. Must feed live foods and run through dry season / wet season cycle. Eggs attached to floating cover, placed in circular grouping similar to Corys with similarly sized eggs. No bubble nest was present at time of spawning. |
