Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Thursday 10th of November 2016. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 61mm SL and the smallest female was at least 56mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Imports, presumably wild caught.

Down Breeding
Behaviour Standard hypan spawning. Male traps female for 1 to 2 days and then does the rest. Several batches of 6 to 24 eggs, normally about 10-15 per batch.
Eggs There were 20 golden yellow eggs laid which were 3.5mm in diameter.
