Overview | The first spawn was on Saturday 20th of August 2022. The breeding group consisted of 5 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 35mm SL and the smallest female was at least 35mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 12 months old. The individuals were obtained from Jeremy Basch. |

Furniture | Romani appears to be the only Duringlanis species that are egg scatters. They prefer open ended pipes and they spawn in mops. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Romani "dance" at the surface and tend to lock up. They spawn quite frequently (weekly). The males do fight at the surface as well so one must distinguish battles and courtship. |
Eggs | There were 30 white eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter. |
Segregation | Fry were reared in a basket with 4 time daily feedings and regular maintenance. |

Fry and juvenile feeding | Liquifry No 1 for first 2 weeks "fry crack phaze 1" and frozen Daphnia for 1.5 months "fry crack phase 2" for 1.5 months "fry crack phaze 3" there forward NLS food for the sub-adults is great as well. The sub-adults also enjoy the occasional cube of frozen mysis shrimp or bloodworms. |
