Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Saturday 1st of June 2013. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 75mm SL and the smallest female was at least 75mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Rare Aquatics.

1.Tetra colorbits(US) prima(UK) (dry / prepared) daily
Down Water Parameters (at time of spawning)
pH 7.20 to 7.30
Conductivity 200µs to 200µs
Temperature 28.5°C to 29.5°C

Other Water Params Left tank uncleaned for 2 weeks. 3 days of 30% water changes Then left again, found fry by chance looking for sub-adults to sell on!
Down Aquarium
Furniture Fluval Roma 125. Thermo filter, slate caves, and clay caves, few plants, black caribsea sand. Slate positioned hanging over clay caves for extra shelter
Filtration Eheim 2324 thermo filter. Eheim 200 bio power , pointed across the front of the caves.
Lighting Standard twin T8, although tank does get natural light from window next to tank
Heating As above

Behaviour Unfortunately, they spawned when I wasn't watching! So didn't see anything unusual.. However on reflection, the male didn't come out of the cave for a while.
