Overview | The first spawn was on Sunday 4th of January 2015. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 25mm SL and the smallest female was at least 22mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 12 months old. The individuals were obtained from Snook21. |

Lighting | Ordinary light that came with the 29 gallon tank. Off at 9pm, on at 7 am. |
Heating | One 100 watt heater. |
Breeding |
Behaviour | They chose a large cave that both could easily fit in. The male and female stayed in cave for several days. I noticed no pre cave behavior differences. The cave was made with white clay and is therefore lighter in color than some other options in the tank. |
Eggs | There were 25 pale yellow eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter. |

Fry and juvenile feeding | Fry were removed and placed in hang in filter box with a small soft piece of driftwood, and a few small trumpet snails. They were fed one small carnivore pellet a day.
Subsequent batches were placed into a 75g tank with some adult 351, and plenty of wood detritus. These fry are growing like weeds! |
