Had them for about 10 months now, they have grown about 6-7inches in that time, growth rate seems as though it is accelerating (depending on the feeding schedule of course.

I'd love to hear from an expert as well, I know species gets misidentified all the time.

If you read the description under the picture in the link it is possibly a new described species which only grows to 12 inches as opposed to 24 inches.

When breeding Syno Multies, they watch and sense when another fish is breeding and then the female spits her eggs out and the male fertilizes them while the other female thinks its her eggs and picks them up (host carrier). Google it on youtube, very cool, even cooler to watch it in person!
