I have six Akysis hendricksoni and I wonder would they be safe in a 5 x 2 x 2 foot tank with a large platydorus hancockii
and two Bunocephalus coracoideus . I don't want them gobbled up in the night.
Thanks

Thanks for all your replies, As you can see by the photo my tanks is well planted and I have two 1500 ltr filters running. Re: Cucumber
Thanks Guys,
That's what I wanted to know, I also feed Blood worm, White mosquito larvae, Black mosquito larvae, Prima, tetra flake, catfish pellets and Dr Bassleer Biofish food. So as you see they get a varied diet.
I was worried about the vast amount of cucumber that was being consumed.
Cheers

Cucumber
Hello,
Can you over feed cucumber? I have 2 sailfin pleco's, 1 bristlenose, a Royal pleco and a couple of Banjo's
each day I place a piece of cucumber about 1-1½" Dia and about ¼ thick complete with skin, by the next morning it's all gone skin and all. Should I limit the amount being fed?

Thank you once again Mats,
I guess if a fish dies or the cave gets dirty I will have to use a big bottle brush ! I will give them a go, if it becomes a problem I can always block the entrance.
Cheers Mate.

I thought I could use different sizes, so that say Bristlenose could use one size and say platydoras costatus another,
I had not thought of cleaning the inside of the tube, does it need to be done often?
Cheers.

Caves
I am setting up a 110 gallon tank for South American Catfish, I would like to build caves into the terracing walls, do you think it would be safe to build them without an exit as in nature ? as in, you swim in but have to back out.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Otocinclus. sp. are they breeding?
Thank you for the information chaps, I have looked as best I can in a heavily planted tank, but can't see any eggs.
I guess with 3 large Peppered Cory and 3 Akysis the chance of survival is pretty remote.
Thanks
