Received word from my friend his Fly River turtle attacked it and there was a 1" wound but it's still stable and active.
I guess they are pretty hardy.

Ok. Pretty much like my Lophiosilurus alexandri then. I don't think this gets as huge as the L. alexandri and I think it's already at max size at 8 inch? A bit more active nocturnally but temperment wise , yes, similar. I couldn't be sure of max size but 8" would be the biggest i know of - may...

Also what are they like in a community tank? They are night time predators with a surprising capacity to consume fish - anything half its size or less is a potential meal.
