Hi
Thanks for reporting the error and my apologies I won't be able to look at this until the weekend I think. Bear with me and I will get it fixed.

Re: Hypostomus not growing?
Yup, just keep the food coming and keep the water quality OK and it'll grow for sure. Treating for interal parasites, depending on how you do it, can clear out their guts and so it can take a while for them to bounce back.

Help with sick USD
I'm posting this on behalf of @Sks063082, who got in touch with me via PM. My African upside catfish is sick and he is going so fast I order medicine online but I don't even know if it's the right medication so I don't want to even give it to him when it comes on Tuesday if he isn't already passed b...

Ah, bugger. Sad, sad news.
I'm not very good at commenting on the death of a friend. Best I can do is post a few pictures of Dave - a US catfish convention fixture - it just will not be the same without him.

Re: Map pins not displaying
OK, so the specific method we were using to draw pins on the map was switched off by Google. There are many new alternatives and what I've done is implemented a simple one. For now, this is half fixed because I still need to work out how to differentiate between type localities and occurrences (purp...

Re: Map pins not displaying
As of February 21st, 2024, google.maps.Marker is deprecated. Please use google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement instead. At this time, google.maps.Marker is not scheduled to be discontinued, but google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement is recommended over google.maps.Marker. While google.maps.Mark...

Done. That is indeed a tome! Also of note, Molecular phylogenetic analyses resolve the enigmatic Conorhynchos conirostris (Anteater Catfish), which is currently not classified in a Linnean-ranked taxonomic family (Eschmeyer and Fricke 2023), in a clade with other South American freshwater lineages t...

Re: Is it worth adding an extra category to the "Further spawns" in BLOGs?
This is do-able. I could also add notes per addn spawn (I prefer not to use notes and prefer data ascribed to a property e.g. placement of eggs).
So, questions back are there any other data items that would be useful here and also would notes per spawn be utilised - if so for what.

This a commercially raised that may be a hybrid. The dorsal fin spine is not white and doesn't look straight.
