Hi everyone, i bought this sailfin pleco yesterday. Do you agree on this fish being a pterygoplichthys gibbiceps? He is about 2,5 inches now so not full grown of cource.

I would be cautious of jumping to a new species, or even a new number. What differences do you see between your fish and C048? I would also compare the difference in the pics in the species entry on fishes kept over different substrates too, that might help. Pictures of the parents and any locality...

Corydoras(ln9) kanei might be right, but the truncated head shape and low body doesn't align with my expectations. How small/big are these fish? Hi guys, sadly he died this afternoon. Hope is an better place! The fungus grew on his eyes in only a few hours. I bought them and their barbs where really short so he probably got an infection from that.
